Event Description

First Annual Event which exposes the community of Dickinson and surrounding areas to are wonderful cultures which will be represented through food vendors and entertainers. Additionally, there will be vendors and kid activities to make this a family fun event for people to enjoy for years. Our goal is to have at least 200 attendees and to continue to increase attendance each year. The event will be open to the public and people will be able to purchase wristband tickets to use the bounce house.


Vendor Rules

Application and payment due by June 30th, 2019

1. Fee: I agree to pay the vendor booth fee by the application deadline. I understand this is nonrefundable.

2. Advertising: I understand that advertising will be done to try to get attendees to the event. However, because this is a free public event there is no guarantee of a final number of attendees.

3. Foot Traffic: The Event Coordinator will have a gift basket raffle as well as checklist for attendees to help get them to your booths. However, it is highly recommended I share the event as well as do some sort of activity in my booth to draw people in.

4. Check In: I understand, I am to check in at a designated time and am not allowed to park on the lawn.

5. No Early Break Downs: In consideration of other vendors please do not break down early without prior approval from the Event Coordinator.

6. Property- Moe Events and the Taste of Culture Event is not responsible for any loss or damage to your property that happens on the premises. If you are concerned please attain your own event insurance.

7. Indemnification. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to protect, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Moe Events and The Taste of Culture Event as well as volunteers and entertainers associated with the event.

8. Rain Contingency/Acts of God. Outdoor events may be moved inside. If notice is provided one week before the event.

9. Amendments/Changes. Any amendments or changes to the arrangements described in this contract must be made in writing, signed by both the vendor and the Event Coordinator.



Food Vendor Rules

Application and payment due by June 30th, 2019

1. Fee: I agree to pay the Food vendor fee by the application deadline. I understand this is nonrefundable.

2. Advertising: I understand that advertising will be done to try to get attendees to the event. However, because this is a free public event there is no guarantee of a final number of attendees.

3. Food: The Event Coordinator will supply food vouchers to some of those involved in the event which they can turn in to the food vendors. They can use all or a portion of it. The voucher is one time use only. If they do not use the entire amount you will only get paid for the portion used (unused portion of the voucher will be forfeited). If the vendors use all of it and go over. The vendors are responsible for the amount they go over. Please turn in your vouchers to the event coordinator at the end of the event.

5. . Check In: I understand, I am to check in at a designated time and am not allowed to park on the lawn. If I am more than 30 minutes late I may not be asked to come back again.

6. No Early Break Downs: In consideration of other vendors please do not break down early without prior approval from the Event Coordinator.

7. Property- Moe Events and the Taste of Culture Event is not responsible for any loss or damage to your property that happens on the premises. Additionally, Moe Events and Taste of Culture is not responsible for food safety. As a food vendor you agree to maintain food to the extent of the law and will take ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILTY FOR ANY FOOD UNDER COOKED. THUS, BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LIABLIYTY CAUSED BY UNDER COOKED FOOD. YOU RELEASE MOE EVENTS FROM ANY DAMAGES THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR.
